Many of our cruises start at one place and finish at another. If you are arriving by car we will ask you to\u00a0park either at the start or end of the cruise, included is a\u00a0chauffeur driven car to bring you from or take you to\u00a0your vehicle. In line with our 5 star\u00a0service\u00a0the company who works with us for this uses top of the line vehicles and smartly dressed drivers.Please follow this link to their site\u00a0Chauffeur Company<\/a><\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t Email us, nick@ladyteal.co.uk<\/a> or call on 07834320199.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t No \u2013 smoking is not allowed on board, of course you may smoke on the tow path.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t Walk the stunning countryside of Yorkshire and Lancashire, and relax in the stunning Lady Teal wide beam barge as we cruise the Leeds and Liverpool canal.<\/p>\n If you want to wander along the tow path getting on and off when you want or if you want to undertake longer walks away from the canal then you can. Either plan your own routes or use one of the routes provided. All walking routes are fully illustrated with photographs and detailed maps to make sure you don\u2019t go wrong. Nick & Gina have both walked\u00a0extensively\u00a0and are very happy \u00a0to sit down with you and an OS map and plan out a route.<\/p>\n Following a good nights sleep on a fully\u00a0 sprung mattress, a hearty breakfast awaits you before you set off for your days walking.<\/p>\n Take a packed lunch, stop off at a pub or meet up with Lady Teal for lunch.<\/p>\n After your days walking come back to a powerful shower, cocktails or a beer on the Star Deck , a gorgeous four course meal and\u00a0 a cruise.<\/p>\n Nick & Gina have trekked to the top of Kilimanjaro, and have\u00a0done\u00a0many walks in the UK. \u00a0Nick has trekked a number of times in Nepal, including Everest base camp, in Morocco and Jordan. Talks can be given on trekking in these places and specifically on the challenges of high altitude trekking.<\/p>\n If you want to stop walking at lunchtime and cruise to the evenings meeting place, then of course you can.<\/p>\n If someone fancies a day off or is not a walker then stay on board,\u00a0 walk the towpath, help with locks and swing bridges , or just relax and watch the world drift by.<\/p>\n It really is a great way to walk and to have your floating hotel there to meet you amidst the stunning scenery.<\/p>\n \u00a0<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t You may operate the boat, under supervision from Gina and Nick who are both qualified helmsmen. Should you want to help with the operation of locks or swing bridges we will be very happy to brief you and to have you assist.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t All bedrooms have flat screens TV\u2019s, DVD players. Uniquely among hotel boats on the canals all our rooms\u00a0fully en-suite, toilet, shower & wash hand basin. All rooms have full tea and coffee making facilities.<\/p>\n We provide face cloths, hand towels and bath sheets. Every en-suite wet room has a set of Pure Lakes bio-degradable toiletry products made in Cumbria from organic ingredients from sustainable sources.<\/p>\n Brindley and Whitworth\u00a0are\u00a0configured for up to two people in twin \u00a0beds that are 6 foot 4 inches long. Rennie sleeps one and has all the same facilities as Whitworth and Brindley, there is no single supplement for Rennie.<\/p>\n All mattresses are fully sprung and are of medium firmness. We have lots of pillows but feel free to bring your own. Luxurious duvets and Egyptian cotton sheets ensure you of a comfortable night\u2019s sleep.<\/p>\n Individually controlled under floor heating allows you to create the environment of your choice.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t We ask on\u00a0your booking form any dietary requirements or allergies \u00a0you may have so we can plan the menu accordingly. We will happily discuss any particular requirements with you prior to confirmation of booking. Rest assured we would not accept a booking if we were not confident we could meet your requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t All food is freshly prepared on board using locally sourced produce where possible. Please let us know if there is any food you particularly dislike and we will accommodate them in our menus. We will discuss all menus in advance, just to be sure there is nothing you dislike planned.<\/p>\n In your cabin\u00a0you can start your day with a drink,\u00a0\u00a0all cabins\u00a0have tea and coffee making facilities.<\/p>\n Breakfast is served in the salon. Breakfast is your choice of cereal including homemade Granola with Greek yogurt, fruit, croissants a a full English breakfast, eggs how you like them, and a daily special plus a wide selection of fruit juices.<\/p>\n Mid morning, fresh coffee, or a choice of loose teas, with home baked cookies<\/p>\n Lunch is typically light, maybe quiche with salad, home baked rolls, fruit and cheese.<\/p>\n Afternoon Tea, or freshly ground coffee, served with homemade cakes, scones and jam.<\/p>\n Pre-dinner cocktails and canap\u00e9s, served on the top deck weather permitting.<\/p>\n Dinner \u2013 4 courses, for example; homemade carrot and ginger soup served with homemade rolls followed by succulent loin of pork stuffed with orange. Dauphinoise potatoes and fresh seasonal vegetables. Lemon souffl\u00e9 with Almond Praline. Selection of cheese, Pettit four.<\/p>\n Remember there will also be wine, beer and soft drinks \u00a0available throughout the day, as well as with the meal. Afternoon dinner drinks are also included.<\/p>\n Due to restricted space we are not able to offer an a la carte menu every evening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t The cruise is a relaxing one so we do not operate a dress code. The boat is fully central heated so whilst inside you will be nice and warm. You will want something to laze around in or to go for a stroll down the towpath.<\/p>\n On nice evenings and when moored during the day we can sit out on the upper deck, if you do you may want something warm as the day cools down.<\/p>\n There are some trips out, and who knows you may even pop into a pub or two, so whatever you feel comfortable with.<\/p>\n Whilst we try to order up the best weather it is England so we may have the occasional rain shower! Some waterproofs would be a good idea.<\/p>\n Shoes: Lady Teal has wooden floor throughout so please no high heels that may damage it. It is also a good idea to have some non-slip soft shoes or sandals, and bear in mind the towpath can be muddy when wet.<\/p>\n We provide all the bedding, towels, slippers, shampoo and shower gel.<\/p>\n Each room has a hairdryer and tea and coffee making facilities, plus don\u2019t forget we are truly all inclusive with an open bar, hot and cold soft drinks freely available.<\/p>\n By all means bring your own books, or e-reader, but if you finish it we have many books on board, plus games and DVD\u2019s.<\/p>\n We have 240 volt sockets like at home so you can bring electrical items from home.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t We have one single cabin, Rennie, if you book this cabin there is no single supplement.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\t\t\n\t\t\t We have safe parking available, at no additional cost, for all our cruises. Cars are parked at your risk.
